Can liners Program

  • Meet the current EPA guidelines
  • Trash bags contain at least 10% post-consumer recycle content
  • Match trash liners size and weight to the container and application
  • Prefer smallest and thinnest size, weight, and gauge
  • Check weight on carton to ensure accurate
  • Biodegradable and/or compostable (As required)

Floor Care Equipment

  • Vacuums, Carpet Extractors, Auto Scrubbers, and other equipment used to maintain floors includes Green Label certification from the Carpet and Rug Institute. (CRI)
  • Vacuum cleaners operate with a sound level of less than 70 dBA
  • Powered floor maintenance equipment have active vacuum dust capture for improved indoor air quality and operate with a sound level of less than 70 dBA
  • Propane equipment has low-emission engines that meet EPA standards for specific engine size and operate with a sound level of less than 90 dBA
  • Automatic scrubbers have variable speed pumps and on-board chemical dispensing systems
  • Battery powered equipment has environmentally preferable gel or AGM batteries
  • Equipment is designed with safeguards to reduce potential damage to building surfaces
  • Cleaning equipment log is kept including: Purchases, Maintenance and Repair
  • Powered equipment is ergonomically designed to minimize vibration, noise and user fatigue.
  • Equipment is designed with safeguards such as rollers or rubber bumpers to reduce potential damage to building surfaces.
  • Annual staff training is incorporated into standard operating procedures
  • PM program is recommended to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.
  • Using wax and chemical applications systems that reduce waste and increase efficiencies.
